FAQ
You do not need to be a Texas resident.
A notary will not call you.
Instead, a notary will send an email out to you within a few minutes upon submitting your request or before your scheduled appointment time. In that email you will have a meeting link to click on to enter our virtual signing room. The notary will be waiting for you to join and meet with them through a video conference. You will need a webcam to be able to connect with your notary through video and audio.
Please respond directly to your notary's email. They are standing by waiting for your email response to further assist you with notarizing your document.
QUESTIONS ABOUT DOCUMENTS
GreenSeal Notary offers a full range of Notarial Services. We can not notarize I-9 Forms, wills, codicils, or testamentary trusts online at this time.
We also do not notarize non-permitted documents such as official public documents. Examples of official public documents are birth certificates, death certificates, marriage licenses, passports etc. We can, however, add a statement, made by the signer, to these type of government documents and notarize the signature.
Please completely fill out your document but do not sign your document before you upload it to us. When you are in session with a notary, you will e-sign your document.
You are required to sign with a digital signature. We embed a number of security features into the document to protect the validity of your signature. The legal validity of e-signatures is well established by the ESIGN Act of 2000 and UETA.
